Days 1 to 2: Transfer to Amboseli national Park.
On the first day of the safari, your private safari guide will pick you up in your hotel in Nairobi or at Jomo Kenyetta International Airport in a luxury 4×4 Safari Land Cruiser, he will brief you about the safari. You start driving south to Amboseli National Park, arriving at your luxury eco-camp in time for a gourmet lunch. Spend your days tracking Amboseli’s famous “super-tuskers” and watching massive elephant families wade through the Enkongo Narok swamps. Enjoy sundowners on Observation Hill with the majestic, snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro perfectly clearing in the background. Dinner and overnight stay.
Days 3 to 4: Transfer to Tsavo West National Park.
After breakfast, check out from the lodge and then start on your journey to Tsavo West National Park and cross the ancient, black Shetani lava flows as you enter Tsavo West. This park has a stunning, rugged ecosystem of volcanic craters and green springs.
Upon arrival, after lunch walk down to the specialized underwater glass viewing chamber at Mzima Springs to watch hippos and crocodiles glide through crystal-clear mountain meltwater. In the evening, track rare black rhinos in the intensely protected Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight stay.
Days 5 to 6: Transfer to Tsavo East National Park.
Wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast, after check out from the lodge and then start on your journey into Tsavo East, a massive, wild plain iconic for its dramatic terracotta-colored soil.
Upon arrival, here, spot the elephants dust-bathe until their skin glows completely red. Track Tsavo’s famous pride of maneless lions, watch wildlife gather beneath the massive 1.6 km Mudanda Rock, and admire the rushing water slicing through the narrow rock gorges at Lugard Falls. After the experience transfer to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 7: Departure.
After a final sunrise game drive along the palm-lined banks of the Galana River, enjoy a bush breakfast. Your guide will drive you back to Nairobi or Mombasa, or drop you at a local airstrip for a luxury fly-back connection straight to your international flight out, that brings your safari come to the end.
