Day 1: Kigali City Tour & Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Upon arrival, enjoy a Kigali city tour, visiting Kimironko Market, King’s Palace, and Genocide Memorial.
Drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park, a biodiverse montane rainforest home to chimpanzees, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and 12 other primate species. Check in at your lodge for lunch and dinner.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyungwe National Park
After breakfast, drive to the Nyungwe Park Headquarters for briefing.
Trek into the forest in search of chimpanzees, listening to the calls of exotic birds and monkeys. Spend one hour observing and photographing chimpanzees in their natural habitat before returning to the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park & Cultural Experience
After breakfast, transfer to Volcanoes National Park (approx. 4–5 hours), enjoying scenic landscapes en route.
Check in at your lodge and, if time allows, visit Iby’iwacu cultural village for a guided cultural experience and traditional dance participation.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking
After an early breakfast, go to the park headquarters for briefing.
Trek into the forest to encounter a habituated gorilla family, spending one hour observing and photographing them. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Second Gorilla Trekking

Day 6: Transfer Back to Kigali – End of Tour
After breakfast, depart Volcanoes National Park and drive back to Kigali, with drop-off at your hotel or Kigali International Airport.
