Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi.
Once upon you arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Your safari guide will welcome you and transfer to your hotel in Nairobi, depending on time of arrival you will optionally go for giraffe manor or visiting Nairobi National Park. Later dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer to Amboseli National Park.
After breakfast, you will either fly or drive towards Amboseli National Park which is famous for its large elephant herds and iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, check in for lunch. After lunch go for afternoon game drive in the park to spot the numerous bird species and animal species. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Full day in Amboseli National Park.
After breakfast, meet your safari guide and go for morning and afternoon game drives with the chances to spot lions, cheetahs, elephants and then diverse birdlife and exploring incredible viewing points and among others. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park.
After breakfast, check out and then transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park to the Great Rift Valley to explore Lake Nakuru that is renowned for its flamingos and then thriving rhino populations, upon arrival check in, enjoy lunch. After lunch experience the afternoon game drive. Later dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Transfer to Masai Mara National reserve.
After breakfast, check out and then transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve with the stunning landscapes and perfect views along the way. Upon arrival, enjoy a spectacular game drive to have the fascinating views of the reserves of wildlife including big five mammals (lions, buffaloes, rhinos, leopards and elephants) and among others, with out forgetting bird species. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6 & 7: Maasai Mara full days exploration.
You will spend two full days witnessing the amazing wildlife in the reserve. And when you travel between July and October you can witness the Great wildebeest Migration. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8: Flight to Kigali, Rwanda.
After breakfast, transfer back to Nairobi for a short commercial flight to Kigali. Upon arrival, your safari driver will pick you and then transfer you to your hotel in Kigali.
Day 9: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park.
After breakfast, check out from your lodge and then start on your scenic 2.5-hour drive north to Volcanoes National Park with stunning views along the way. Upon arrival, check in and later go to the cultural tour experience or optional you can hike to Dian Fossey’s tomb and visiting Karisoke research centre. Later dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park.
After breakfast, meet your safari guide and transfer to the park headquarters begin at 7:30am for a gorilla trekking briefing. After briefing you will trek into the lush rainforest to look for the mountain gorillas and once found, spend one hour in the presence of the gorillas. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 11: Golden monkey trekking or Departure.
Get up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast, after breakfast you will opt o do a golden monkey trek or after a relaxed breakfast check out and start your journey to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight with an en-route lunch in Kigali and if time allows you can do Kigali city tour before your departure that brings your safari come to end.
