Day 1: Mombasa/Diani to Tsavo East National Park.
On the first day of the safari, your safari guide will pick you from your hotel in Mombasa or Diani beach and he will welcome you then brief you about the safari. After you start on your journey to Tsavo East National Park that is famous for its open plains and red elephants that coat themselves with the park’s red volcanic soil. Upon in the park, you will spot lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, hartebeests, impalas, ostriches and many bird species.
Check in your lodge, then enjoy lunch after head out to the park for the game drive, including visiting the famous Aruba Dam which is one of the park’s best wildlife viewing areas where elephants, antelopes, buffaloes and many other animals gather to drink. After return to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Tsavo East to Tsavo West National Park.
After breakfast, check out from your lodge and enjoy your en-route game drive to see the early risers as you depart for Tsavo West National Park. Arrive at your lodge and enjoy lunch. After lunch visit the spectacular Shetani Lava Flow that is a dramatic volcanic landscape crates by the ancient lava eruptions. As well you will visit the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary for the unique sightings, then continue with a game drive through Tsavo West’s rolling hills, rocky outcrops and acacia woodlands while searching for elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and others without forgetting the bird species. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Tsavo West National Park to Diani Beach.
After breakfast, check out from your lodge and visit the beautiful Mzima Springs, where crystal clear water flows from underground streams originating on Mount Kilimanjaro. You will enjoy a guided nature walk and observe the hippos, crocodiles, monkeys and many bird species. The underwater viewing chamber offers a unique opportunity to watch hippos and fish beneath the water’s surface.
After the visit, start on your scenic drive back toward Kenya’s coast and continue to the beautiful Diani beach. Upon arrival, check into your beach resort and spend the afternoon while relaxing by the swimming pool or enjoying the soft white sand and refreshing Indian Ocean breeze. Dinner and overnight at your beach resort.
Day 4: Full day relaxation at Diani Beach.
After your leisurely breakfast before spending the day relaxing at one of the Kenya’s most beautiful beaches. You may choose to swim in the warm turquoise waters, sunbathe on the white sandy beach, or simply relax under the shade of palm trees while enjoying the spectacular ocean views.
Optional for the tourists looking for adventure, including snorkelling, scuba diving, kite surfing, paddle boarding, deep sea fishing, dolphin watching and sailing on a traditional dhow. You may also visit nearby coral reefs or take a trip to Wasini Island and Kisite Marine Park. Return to your resort for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Explore Diani Beach.
After breakfast, enjoy another full day at Diani Beach, this is where you will either take a peaceful walk along the beach, visit the local craft markets, enjoying a relaxing spa treatment or simply relax at your resort. For the nature lovers may choose optional excursions to Shimba Hills National Reserve or Colobus Conservation Centre to learn about local wildlife conservation efforts. When the day comes to an end, enjoy a beautiful sunset overlooking the Indian Ocean before dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Departure.
After breakfast, you will check out from resort at Diani Beach and depending on your travel arrangements you will be transferred to Ukunda Airstrip for your domestic flight to Nairobi or driven to Moi International Airport in Mombasa for your onward journey. If returning by road then you will enjoy the scenic coastal drive while reflecting on the unforgettable wildlife encounters and then relaxing beach experiences that made your Kenyan holiday truly special.
