Day 1: Kigali City Tour & Transfer to Akagera National Park
After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up for a Kigali city tour, visiting Kimironko Market, the King’s Palace, and the Kigali Genocide Memorial.
Drive northeast to Akagera National Park, arriving in the evening. Check in at your lodge, relax, enjoy dinner, and overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive & Afternoon Boat Cruise on Lake Ihema
Start the day with a morning game drive, spotting lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, leopards, rhinos, and other species.
After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Ihema, observing hippos, crocodiles, and over 500 bird species including shoebill storks, herons, jacanas, and ibis.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park & Cultural Experience
After breakfast, enjoy a short exit game drive and drive to Volcanoes National Park (approx. 4–5 hours).
Arrive for lunch and relaxation, then in the evening, enjoy a cultural visit to Iby’iwacu Village, participating in traditional Rwandan dances and learning about local customs.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking Experience
After breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for briefing.
Hike into the forest to track a habituated gorilla family. Spend one hour observing and photographing the gorillas in their natural habitat.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing on golden monkey trekking.
