Day 1: Kigali City Tour & Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park

Upon arrival, enjoy a Kigali city tour to explore the vibrant markets, local neighborhoods, and historical landmarks.

Drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park, a biodiverse montane rainforest home to chimpanzees, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and 12 other primate species. Check in at your lodge for lunch and dinner.

Day 2: Canopy Walk Experience

After breakfast, head to the Nyungwe canopy walkway, a 160m-long suspension bridge 70m above the forest floor.

Hike through lush trails and spot butterflies, orchids, and endemic birds along the way. Guided sessions are available at 8am, 10am, 1pm, and 3pm.

Return to your lodge for meals and relaxation.

Day 3: Isumo Waterfall Hike & Gisakura Tea Plantation Visit

After breakfast, embark on a 10.6 km Isumo Waterfall hike through lush vegetation, spotting vervet and colobus monkeys, as well as colorful birds like the Rwenzori Turaco.

After lunch, visit Gisakura Tea Plantation, Rwanda’s largest tea-producing area, for a guided tour of the fields and factory.

Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
