Once you arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, on day one of the safari, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide from WildApes Safaris and transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to visit the Giraffe centre, Karen Blixen Museum or enjoying a relaxing evening at your hotel. After breakfast, check out from your hotel and start your journey to Amboseli National Park, then arrive in time for lunch, check. In the afternoon you will enjoy your first exciting game drive across Amboseli’s open plains. The park is internationally famous for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. During the game drive you may encounter elephants, lions, buffaloes, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas and many numbers of bird species. After breakfast, meet your safari guide and spend the day exploring Amboseli National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. Visit the park’s permanent swamps, where wildlife gathers throughout the year, and enjoy the excellent chances to photograph elephants against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. You may also choose to visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about the customs, dances and daily life of the Maasai people. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, check out and depart for Tsavo West National Park which is one of Kenya’s most scenic wildlife destinations. Upon arrival, enjoy your lunch then visit the park’s famous attractions like Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, as well as Mzima Springs where the crystal-clear water flows from underground streams originating from Mount Kilimanjaro, and observe hippos, crocodiles, many numerous bird species during the guided nature walk.

After breakfast, start on your journey towards the beautiful Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley with the en-route game drive while spotting the early risers. Arrive in the time for lunch, then check in and enjoy lunch. After you will go for the optional boat cruise on the lake and during the cruise, you may observe the hippos, African fish eagles, kingfishers, cormorants, pelicans and many other water birds. You may also enjoy a guided nature walk on the Crescent Island, where you spot the giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and antelopes roam freely. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
After breakfast, check out from your lodge and then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for a full day of the wildlife viewing. Lake Nakuru is one of the Kenya’s best places to see the endangered black and white rhinos. During your game drive, you may also encounter the lions, leopards, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, baboons, waterbucks and seasonal flocks of flamingos along the lake shoreline. After breakfast, check out and then depart for the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will have the stunning views along the way, once you arrive check in your lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon start on your first game drive through the endless plains of the Mara, during the game drive you will spot the buffaloes, giraffes, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests and many other animals that make the reserve one of the Africa’s greatest wildlife destinations. After an early breakfast, spend the entire day exploring the Maasai Mara with a packed lunch, that is both morning and afternoon game drive, you will search for the famous Big Five while visiting the different parts of the reserve, including the Mara River, where the hippos and crocodiles are commonly seen. If traveling during the migration season you may witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration that is from July to August. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will enjoy another exciting day in Maasai Mara that allows you to have more time exploring areas not visited on the previous day. Your guide will take you to the prime wildlife viewing locations where you may encounter cheetahs hunting, then the lions resting under the acacia trees, elephants crossing the plains, and leopards hiding in the riverine forests. In the morning optional you may also experience the hot air balloon to experience the entire reserve the plains. After you enjoy lunch, then the afternoon you can go for the Maasai Village Tours to the traditional Maasai village that offers an opportunity to experience the local culture, traditional dances, handicrafts and community life.
