Book this three-day Uganda gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi impenetrable national park, for the opportunity to see the endangered mountain gorillas. You will have an opportunity to spend one full hour with these Habituated mountain gorillas observing their behaviors and taking photographs, do not miss carrying a camera for such a memorable experience. You will trek gorillas in Bwindi that is in Buhoma, Rushaga, Nkuringo or Ruhija sectors depending on the availability of gorilla permits

Day 1 Pick-up from Entebbe/Kampala and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Morning: Our professional driver guide will pick you up at your hotel or Entebbe International Airport and start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is an 8-9 hours drive, you will have a stop at the equator at Kayabwe for equator experience and photography

Afternoon: You will proceed with the journey and have hot lunch in Mbarara city, After lunch, you will embark on your scenic drive to Bwindi NP, you will see most beautiful landscapes ranging from plantations, hills, all the way to the Virunga massive. Just keep your cameras near you and your driver will definitely stop if you need him to, so that you can capture that beautiful moment.

Evening: You will arrive at the lodge, check in followed by refreshments, dinner and overnight

Day 2: Gorilla trekking experience
Morning: After breakfast you will drive to the park headquarters for a briefing about the dos and don’ts during trekking and later start your gorilla trekking experience, the journey can last between 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on the location of the gorilla family you will choose to trek

Trek and Observation: Once you find these gorillas you will spend one hour observing their behaviors and taking photos and later return to the park headquarters to receive your gorilla trekking certificates to confirm a successful gorilla trekking in Uganda

Evening: You will return to the lodge for relaxation or any optional activity such as Batwa community experience and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Afternoon: You will have a stop along the way for lunch and have an optional stop at the equator to purchase some souvenirs and later proceed with you’re your journey to Entebbe or Kampala

Evening: Depending on your next program, you can be transferred to the hotel in Entebbe or Kampala or at the airport to catch up for your night flight Back home

Gorilla Permit:
The largest portion of the tour cost is a gorilla permit for non-residents its USD800 per person, Foreign Residents USD700, Rest of Africa USD500 and East African Citizens is UGX300,000 Per person. This covers park entry, ranger services, and your hour with the gorillas.
Means of Transport: You can opt to fly or drive to Bwindi, Flights take 1-2 hours, and driving takes 8-9 hours drive to Bwindi. For budget clients, we recommend driving to reduce on the cost. All vehicles are comfortable with enough leg room, AC and are driven by our professional driver guides.
Gorilla trekking Regions: Bwindi has 4 gorilla trekking sectors which include Buhoma, Ruhaga, Nkuringo and Ruhija. We shall book for you accommodation in respect to the permits location.
Total tour package: All-inclusive 3-day tours for a non-resident, depending on lodging, generally range from $1,300 to $2,900+ per person.
