This extraordinary 7-day safari combines the best of Uganda’s primate and wildlife experiences. Trek mountain gorillas in Bwindi, explore wildlife in Queen Elizabeth National Park through game drives and a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel, and trek chimpanzees in Kibale National Park, including a visit to Bigodi Wetlands for primates and birds. Day 1 — Kigali to Bwindi Im­penetrable National Park

Drive time: 4–5 hours
Meals: Lunch & Dinner

Pick-up from Kigali hotel or airport and begin your scenic drive to Bwindi NP, stopping at the Kigali Genocide Memorial. Enjoy lunch in Kabale and continue through plantations, hills, and views of the Virunga massif. Arrive at the lodge, enjoy refreshments, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 2 — Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. Trek for 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on the gorilla family’s location. Spend 1 hour observing the gorillas and photographing them. Receive your Gorilla Trekking Certificate and return to the lodge for overnight stay.

Day 3 — Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Drive time: 4–5 hours
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Depart Bwindi for Queen Elizabeth NP, the “Medley of Wonders.” Check in at your lodge and relax before heading out for an afternoon game drive to spot buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs, and more. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 — Morning Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Enjoy an early morning game drive in Kasenyi Plains to maximize wildlife sightings. Return to the lodge for lunch, then take an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel to view hippos, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, and a variety of birds. Return to the lodge for overnight.

Day 5 — Transfer to Kibale National Park

Drive time: 5–6 hours
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

After breakfast, depart Queen Elizabeth NP and drive to Kibale NP, stopping along the way for photography. Arrive in the afternoon, check in at your lodge, and enjoy dinner.

After breakfast, drive to the park headquarters for a chimpanzee trekking briefing. Trek into the forest and spend 1 hour with chimpanzees. Return to the lodge for lunch, then explore Bigodi Wetlands for primates and birdwatching. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7 — Transfer back to Kigali

Drive time: 6–7 hours
Meals: Breakfast & Lunch

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Kigali, stopping for lunch along the way. Drop-off at your hotel or airport marks the end of the safari.
